- Gentry, A. W., and Gentry, A. 1978. Fossil Bovidae (Mammalia) of Olduvai Gorge, Tanzania. Part I. Bulletin of the British Museum (Natural History): Geology 29:289-446.
- Curatorial Notes:
- This specimen was housed in Munich but destroyed in WWII. Its horizon is unknown but it is depicted in an illustration in Schwarz (1937). There is confusion as to whether this specimen may be numbered VII-468 (Gentry and Gentry, 1978a) which is written on the plate, but which represent a lower jaw based on Schwarz's list of specimens.
